Clarice Little (McKenney)

I was so saddened to hear of Pat's passing. She should have had many more good years ahead of her.

Before our 10th reunion, Pat was the first on my written list in the back of my PineBurr of students about whom I wanted more information.

Pat was a lovely person I got to know pretty well in band. She used to pal around with Steve Finch and me, sometimes even when we weren't supposed to be paying attention to Mr. Coon.

I envied them for playing the regular B-flat clarinet. My family moved so much, by the time we'd get to the new school. I was always stuck with Alto Clarinet or Bass Clarinet.

Pat was down-to-earth with a good sense of humor. The last time I saw her, I was struck by how little she had changed in personality or physical stature.

Rest in Peace, dear Pat, in the arms of God. I pray for the peace of your loved ones you've left back here on earth.

Gary Foreman:  A piece of my heart broke off with Patty's passing.  I dated her in hi school for a short time. I found her a kind and loving person. Through the years of reunions, I found she was still that kind and loving person.
