Floyd Ogden Sr

June 26, 1947 – April 4, 2025
 
Floyd K. Ogden Sr. peacefully passed away on April 4th, 2025. Floyd was born on June 26th, 1947, to Marchina and Curtis Ogden. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Diane; his son, Floyd Jr.; and three daughters: Wendy, Kim, and Lisa. He has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Floyd had a large family of 11 siblings of which five preceded him in death – Curtis Jr., Terry, Ron, Chris, and Cindy. Floyd leaves behind six siblings: Gary, Ray, Janet, Claudia, Sharon, and Debbie.

Floyd originally lived in the Spokane, Washington area and was a firefighter for over 30 years. He moved to Apache Junction, AZ after retirement over 24 years ago.

Floyd enjoyed many sports and hobbies over the years including golfing, fishing, hunting, baseball, pottery, jewelry-making, and painting.

He was a master storyteller and jokester that everybody knew and loved. Floyd and Diane were notorious Karaoke attenders and casino visitors with Floyd winning many pots and raffles.

Floyd was funny, entertaining, and had many friends. He will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held on July 12th at 1pm, at the Chattaroy Church, Chattaroy, WA, followed by a celebration at Deer Park Golf Club, at 3pm, in Deer Park, WA. Details will be posted to Facebook and Ogden Family Group. A celebration of life will be arranged in Apache Junction, AZ in the Fall of 2025.
